Not enough work for employees and don’t want to pay for downtime?

Your options are as follows:

Hourly employees — it’s up to that worker whether or not to take accrued, paid vacation days if you send the worker home early.

Salaried employees — require the salaried or exempt employee to take accrued vacation, paid personal days or other paid time off if you send the salaried or exempt employee home early.
